I restored defaults, which temporarily fixed the problem, but the issue I used to have, which was static in the background of my recordings, returned. The microphone is still playing back through the speakers while I record my voice.
In the recording devices menu, I clicked on properties for my microphone, and UNCHECKED 'listen to this device'. In the playback devices menu, I clicked on properties for my speakers, and in levels I have the microphone muted. I have installed the latest Windows 10 updates. For some reason, despite everything that I have tried to fix the problem, I am still getting microphone playback through my speakers.Īll of my drivers and devices are up to date.
